Welcome
Thank you for visiting to check in on Ryan's progress towards recovery. Ryan has always been there for everyone he knows and right now we all hope we can live up to his example by being there for him and his family while he heals. He is strong and we all know that if anyone can come through this it is him.
While Ryan's injuries are serious and frightening, the best thing for us to do is all stay on the same page with accurate information but also all stay positive and look forward to the good news to come. The aim of this site is to reflect the incremental changes in his condition. Also, this should provide a space to express your love and concern for Ryan and his family.

Ryan,
ReplyDeleteYou are one of the best people I know. When I think about my “adult” life in New Orleans, you are such an important part of it:
*From August until (hopefully) February, you are my favorite person to be with on Sundays. I don’t know anyone else who is as passionate about BOTH the Patriots and the Saints.
*Our dogs, Sadie and Hobbs. I still remember the day Ben told me that Sadie and Hobbs were in love. I was so proud of Hobbs for getting the prettiest girl in the place. He is looking forward to moving back to NOLA to rekindle their romance!
*Sharing the joys and frustrations of working in the nonprofit world. Even though we have both moved on, you were always an inspiration to me to do better.
*Deciding to go to graduate school and studying for the GMAT. Even though you kicked my butt, you were so supportive and encouraging. I probably would have gloated. You never cease to amaze me.
I am so sorry I can’t be there to cheer you on in your recovery. Please know that I am sending all of my love and positive energy your way.
Love,
Jenny
Porcelli i've told you forever you're family away from family and the best ever :) keeping super close tabs on you and thinking of you all the time, can't wait to see you!

ReplyDeleteI don't know how I didn't find out about any of this until now..from a post on someone's facebook wall.. but somehow I didn't. I am sending you so much love & wishing you joy, friendship, hugs and laughter and ease. It's not surprising to me at all how many people have come out to surround you with love--you are such an amazing person and I've always enjoyed the time we spent together. I look forward to next time we are in the same state, and so so glad to hear you are doing better. Love to you & your family!

Hi Ryan, you don't know me, my name is Vince Porcelli and I live in Toronto Canada. I stumbled across this blog by googling my son's name (Ryan Porcelli) and I was hooked on the story. I just wanted to send my best wishes for a full recovery. It looks like you have a very tight knit group behind you of family and friends. Cherish them, family is the most important !! I hope all goes well for you...God Bless
