Welcome

Thank you for visiting to check in on Ryan's progress towards recovery. Ryan has always been there for everyone he knows and right now we all hope we can live up to his example by being there for him and his family while he heals. He is strong and we all know that if anyone can come through this it is him.

While Ryan's injuries are serious and frightening, the best thing for us to do is all stay on the same page with accurate information but also all stay positive and look forward to the good news to come. The aim of this site is to reflect the incremental changes in his condition. Also, this should provide a space to express your love and concern for Ryan and his family.

Some Pics of Ryan's House

A lot of progress has been made on Ryan's house recently with the help of family and friends volunteering to get work done that Ryan had planned to do himself, as well as by hiring sub-contractors in accordance with the plan for the house that Ryan and I had originally come up with. Since many of you last saw it, we have....

...done a lot of painting on the exterior (but definitely not finished)....

...refinished the old hardwood floors...

....installed cabinets and countertop (not pictured, but trust me ;) .....

...the tub and tile around the shower, as well as the plumbing fixtures...

....doors and trim...

...almost everything, even the kitchen sink. (also done but not pictured is the air conditioning and the light fixtures).

Thanks to everyone who has come out to help. Having another work day this Saturday (July 2nd) at the house from 10a-4p. Please email jim@pnola.org if you want to help out. We will be doing some exterior and interior painting, and some general clean up. Final building inspection is scheduled for this Thursday (not everything has to be done, just the stuff related to building code) so we will be able to get power on Tuesday!
